Daniel Triplett Professional Portfolio
This is a collection of some of the work I did during my 6+ years in the game industry, as well as new work. The work is in order from newest to oldest. My primary focus was environment creation which included; modeling, texture creation, lighting, game engine implementation and bug fixing. I was an art lead for one full game, and acted as a lead temporarily on a few other projects. I also helped train new hires, did portfolio reviews, and worked UI for a game.
This is still a work in progress, but I thought I'd share what I have done on it thus far. My goal is to recreate the rose from Beauty and the Beast
Galaxy Note 3
Working to perfect the art of high poly hard surface modeling I decided to model my phone the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
The Arlington Cardinals
I took over the apparel for the Arlington heights wrestling team. Below is the designs for the wrestling singlets and fight shorts. I used a 3D sculpting program called Zbrush to put together the Cardinal Man logo, and Photoshop to create the head and wings for the front of the singlet and rear of the shorts
The Wrestling Academy
These images were created for The Wrestling Academy. The work included concept art, modeling, texturing and lighting the character, as well as working with the manufacturer of the apparel. Below are the patterns for the wrestling singlets, T-shirts and fight shorts.
Hydra Tank for Disney Imagineering
Every so often a friend of mine who works for Disney Imagineering has asked me to create a 3D mock up of 2D concepts he has created. The images below are of a Hydra Tank that I rapid modeled, textured, and rendered in one day. I am under the impression that this model was to be used for a Hydra Poster at Disney Land within a Captain America ride. Unfortunately I do not have permission to show the original concept I built this from.
